Olympus OM-D E-M5 micro 4/3 digital camera was announced at start of 2012. The OM–D's mirrorless design has a compact and lightweight body with dust-proof and splash-proof technology. The styling of the camera is based of the OM film camera developed in 1970's by Olympus. the built in Electronic View Finder (EVF) system enables photographers to check exposure levels, white balance and preview Art Filter effects in real-time. The new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 EZ lens is also dust-proof and splash-proof. It has a new 16-megapixel Live MOS image sensor for a maximum 25,600 ISO. The E-M5 is equipped with 5 axis image stabilization system which compensates for vertical, horizontal, and rotational camera shake. It has a 3 inches titling touch screen OLED to control the camera setting, focus and play back pictures.
