Konica Minolta has a new Lens Design Patent

It is very strange that Konica Minolta files a new patent of micro 4/3 43mm F1.4 lens.  Konica Minolta has sold its camera business to Sony in 2006.  Does it mean Konica Minolta is planning to get back to photography business? This lens has focal length of 42.65mm, aperture 1.45, equivalent to 135 viewing angle focal length of approximately 85/1.4, which is very standard portrait lens. The lens design is 10group 11elements low-dispersion lenses.
