Canon Powershot SX600 18x Mega Zoom Digital Camera

Canon announced the Powershot SX600 18x zoom digital camera recently.  The camera features wifi and remotely controlled by smart phone.  The dedicated Mobile Device Connect Button allows users to connect to a smartphone in an instant with NFC support for easy share of image. The PowerShot SX600 HS features a 25mm ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as an 18x optical zoom. High quality 36x ZoomPlus technology increases the zoom even further.  The camera include feature of 16 MP HS system for clear photos even in low light. The intelligent IS keeps photos sharp and movies steady. Creative Shot  creates 6 unique images.  The camera incorporate smart Auto for point and shoot and full HD movies with optical zoom.

Sony NEX-3N - The Last NEX Camera

Sony NEX-3N is the last NEX series camera. Sony NEX-3N features a 16.1 megapixel  Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, full HD AVCHD (50i/25p) video recording, 3-inch tilting LCD panel with 461,000-dot resolution and built-in pop-up flash.  In addition, the camera incorporate the features of ISO 100-16000, intelligent AF system, auto object framing and photo creativity feature for effects. 
The zoom function of the lens is motorised, which allows it to collapse down when not in use.  The AF was quick to focus, at less than half a second between pressing the shutter button and taking a shot.

Nikon D5300 DSLR

Nikon D5300 was announced last October(2013) to replace the D5200, which is the company's first DSLR with built-in WiFi.  The camera features a DX-format 24.2 megapixel sensor and EXPEED 4 image processor.  The sensor does not have the traditional optical low-pass filter in order to gain better sharpness and resolution from both photos and videos. D5300 incorporates a 3.2" 1,037k-Dot Vari-Angle LCD Monitor and can take full HD 1080p video recording at 60 fps.  The camera allows continuous shooting up to 5 fps with 39-Point multi-cam 4800DX AF Sensor.  Its sensitivity can expand to sensitivity to ISO 25600. The kit lens is NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens.

Nikon D3300 DSLR

Nikon announces the D3300 DSLR at 2014 CES.  Nikon makes it smaller with improvement.  The camera features a 24MP sensor that will shoot at up to 5 fps and its ISO can be bumped to 12,800.  In addition, the camera features a Expeed 4 image processor with  3.0" 921k-Dot LCD Monitor. The camera does not have optical low-pass filter to provide as much resolution as possible from the relatively small pixels.  The camera can take full HD1080p video recording.  Other features include:

PANASONIC DMCZS35K BLACK 16MP 20X WIDE ANGLE 3"

Panasonic has announced the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS35 (TZ55), which features  Wi-Fi connectivity (though no NFC) and a 28-560mm equivalent 20x zoom range.  The camera incorporate  a 16MP MOS sensor.

Canon announces the Powershot N100 point and shot camera, which will be sold around US$350. The camera features a 12.1 Mp High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor to produce high-resolution picture.  The 5x optical zoom lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 24-120mm.  The camera has a 90° tilting design screen for easy picture taking.  The features of the camera are summarized as follows:
