Using Old Lens on Olympus or Panasonic Micro 4/3 Cameras

An adapter can be used to mount the old Olympus film camera lens (i.e. OM Zuiko lens) or other brand to a micro 4/3 digital camera body. This kind of adapters are available in eBay for around US$10 or up. Since the micro 4/3 camera has a factor of 2, the legacy lens mounted on it double the focal length of the legacy lens. Adapting larger format legacy lens to smaller format sensors (i.e 35mm to micro 4/3) provides excellent edge-to-edge sharpness. The smaller image field helps minimize the effects of lens distortion and aberration by using the 'sweet spot' or center of the larger lens image circle.

Three Essential Filters to Enhance Pictures

There are 2 essential lens you must have for creative imaging. These are the polarizing filter and neutral density filter.

Polarizing filter can darken the sky, remove reflections from water, enhance colour saturation, and reduces haze and blue cast in Landscapes.

Neutral density filter has four major uses.  It can  enable slow shutter speeds to be used,  with high speed ISOs such as recording movement in subjects of waterfalls, clouds, or car. It can decrease depth of field to allow larger aperture to be used.  It is useful to take picture in very bright scenes such as snow.
