Panasonic Lumix TZ40 / ZS30 20X Zoom Point and Shot Digital Camera with Leica Lens

Panasonic TZ40 (ZS30) was announced in January this year.  This is a new travel camera with 20X (24-480mm 35mm eqivalent) zoom lens for both photo and video. The new 18.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor realizes both high quality image recording and high speed signal processing. This new sensor lets the DMC-ZS30(TZ40) shoot 10 fps* in 18.1-megapixel full resolution with mechanical shutter and 5 fps with continuous AF. With the industry’s first Creative Panorama, 12 filter effects make panorama images more impressive, and expand your expressive abilities. Built in Wifi and NFC (Near Field Communication) changes a smartphone / tablet into a remote controller for LUMIX by just touching the camera with the smartphone or tablet. The GPS (Global Positioning System) in DMC-ZS30(TZ40) newly complies with GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) to further enhance its detection accuracy for its increased number of satellites. The DMC-ZS30(TZ40) can record full HD 1,920 x 1,080 videos in AVCHD Progressive (MPEG-4 / H.264) format. Featuring 60p (NTSC) / 50p (PAL) full HD recording capability, subjects with fast motion or fine details are reproduced clearly.
