Panasonic develops and redesign Lumix G Vario 14-140mm F3.5-5.6 ASPH. Power OIS Zoom Lens. The lens is smaller, lighter, less-expensive alternative to the original G Vario HD 14-140mm F4.0-5.8 ASPH Mega OIS. This new lens offers a wide and long zoom range of 14-140mm (35mm camera
equivalent: 28-280mm) to suit a large variety of shooting situations. The lens is designed with architecture of 14 elements in 12 groups using three aspherical lenses and two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses. The lens incorporates Panasonic’s POWER O.I.S. optical image stabilizer,
which includes a lens shift system enabling stable framing even in a
telephoto position.
