Panasonic Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera G6

Panasonic announced the mirroeless interchangeable camera G6 to replace the G5. The DMC-G6 integrates 16.05-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor and Venus Engine featuring its advanced noise reduction systems. In accordance with Panasonic, it effectively removes noise in multiple steps according to the noise characteristics, realizing both smoothness and sharpness according to the part of an image.

The Low Light AF in DMC-G6 can auto focus precisely even under moonlight without the help of AF assist lamp. The DMC-G6 features high-speed Light Speed AF, making it possible to capture even the fast-moving subject clearly.

The DMC-G6 can perform the high speed burst shooting at 7 fps in 16.05-megapixel full resolution and max. 40 fps using an electronic shutter. The camera has a 1,440K-dot OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) LVF (Live View Finder) with approx. 100% field of view in 4:3 aspect.

The DMC-G6 records stunningly smooth, high-resolution full-HD 1,920 x 1,080 60p (NTSC area) / 50p (PAL area) videos in AVCHD Progressive (MPEG-4 / H.264) format.

With NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, you can connect the camera with a smartphone/tablet by just bringing them together.
