The New Canon Mega Zoom 30X SX500 Digital Camera

Introduction

Canon SX500 were announced in August, 2012. SX500 is much smaller and lighter than the Canon SX40 35x mega zoom camera. The handling of the SX500 is quite good with its handle. As a high-powered mega zoom camera, the most features are the SX500 IS's 30x lens (equivalent of 24-720mm). The camera has basically has IS anti-shock function and 0cm super macro shooting. The macro function is convenient to shoot close-up insects. The object in far distance is normally not easy to target when using the long zoom, hence, SX500 has framing Assist function to ensure easy targeting the object in far distance when using the zoom. SX500 IS uses a 16 million pixel CCD, image processor and DIGIC 4 image processor which can show good degree of detail of the images in low-light-sensitive. The shooting functions SX500 IS certainly do not lack in addition to the more advanced P / A / S / M mode with 32 Scene Scene Detection function. In short, the features of Canon SX500 mega zoom digital camera are summarized as follows:

• Canon's powerful 30x Optical Zoom and 24mm Wide-Angle lens with Optical Image Stabilizer reduces camera shake so you achieve brilliant images whether you are up close or far away.
• 16.0 Megapixel sensor and Canon DIGIC 4 Image Processor deliver stunning quality images.
• Capture breathtaking 720p HD video in stereo sound with a dedicated movie button; zoom while shooting and play back videos on an HDTV via the HDMI output.
• Large 3.0-inch LCD with 461,000 dots enables easy viewing.
• Smart AUTO intelligently selects the proper settings for the camera based on 32 predefined shooting situations to ensure the best possible image capture for stills or video.
• Intelligent IS automatically chooses from six different modes to optimize image stabilization for shake-free images in a wide variety of conditions.
• Enhanced Zoom Framing Assist button aids in tracking and capturing subjects during super telephoto photography.
