Lecia New 3.8X Compact Digital Camera D-LUX6 Announced

Based on the information circulated in the web, I collected the information of Leica D-LUX6 for reference only. D-Lux 6 has 10.1mega pixel CMOS sensor with  sensitivity up to ISO 12800, with a 3.8 optical zoom lens, maximum aperture of F1.4. The D-Lux 6 comes with an aperture ring which allows users to adjust aperture values via the lens barrel. Leica new large aperture compact digital camera is announced with the following features:

    Sensor: 1/1.7 "10.1 megapixel CMOS
    Image Processor: Venus image processing engine
    Sensitivity: ISO 80-6400, the maximum to ISO12800
    Lens: 3.8 x optical zoom, the equivalent focal length of 24 ~ 90mm

    Shutter speed: 60 to 1/4000 of a second
    Continuous shooting speed: about shooting 11 per second
    Screen: 3-inch 920,000-pixel LCD flip

Leica will announced the Leica M10 digital camera on September 17

In accordance with DPnet, Leica on September 17, that is, (before the opening of the Photokina exhibition) will hold a press conference to launch the number of new products, including the M10 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, S3 DSLR, D-Lux6 compact digital camera, V-Lux4, the redesigned Summicron-M28mm f / 2 ASPH. and new 8mm Summilux-M f/1.4 lens may also introduce. M10  is likely to adopt the 24 million pixel Teledyne DALSA full-size sensor. S3 DSLR will continue to maintain a 37.5 million pixel  with a re-designed sensor which can lead to better image quality.
