High end Panasonic LF1 large aperture (F2.0) compact camera

Panasonic high end compact camera DMC-LF1 has large aperture of F2.0. The DMC-LF1 is a sleek, stylish digital compact camera which comes with 0.2-inch EVF (Electronic Viewfinder) with 200K-dot resolution, 100% field of view. The DMC-LF1 is equipped with newly developed 28mm wide angle LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens with 7.1x optical zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 28-200mm). The DMC-LF1 integrates 1/1.7-inch, 12.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS Sensor which is larger in size than standard digital compact cameras. Manual control is done using a Control Ring, which enables direct, intuitive control over frequently-used settings – zooming, aperture, shutter speed, ISO sensitivity and filter of Creative Control / Creative Panorama. To assist learning photography, Composition Guide is available in DMC-LF1. It is easy to shoot a photo in good composition by just choosing most suitable pattern of composition from- Rule of Thirds Offset, Diagonal Lines, Tunnel, Radiation1, Radiation2 and S-shape. The POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) suppresses the low-frequency vibration hand-shake component, which is physically generated when pressing the shutter button or when shooting at night with a slow shutter speed. With the Creative Panorama function, it is possible to apply 13 filter effects to the horizontal / vertical panoramic image, which can be shot by sweeping the camera in any four directions – to right, left, top or bottom.
The high speed digital signal output technology is integrated to realize high speed consecutive shooting at 10 fps in full resolution with mechanical shutter and to record full-HD 60i (NTSC area) / 50i (PAL area) smooth video in AVCHD/MP4. It also contributes to the high speed Sonic Speed AF to catch the most fleeting shooting opportunities. In addition, the high speed burst shooting at 60 fps is available to capture subject with fast motion. The DMC-LF1 is equipped with popular Creative Control and Creative Retouch featuring a total of 15 filter effects.

*1 These are standard times taken at a temperature of 23°C (73.4°F) and a humidity of 50%RH. The time available for recording varies depending on the environment, the interval between recordings, and the manner of use. Actual recordable time is the time available for recording when repeating actions such as switching the power supply [ON]/[OFF], starting/stopping recording, zoom operation etc. Maximum time to record motion pictures continuously with [AVCHD] is 29 minutes 59 seconds in Europe and some Asian areas. Maximum time to record motion pictures continuously with [MP4] is 29 minutes 59 seconds or up to 4 GB. You can check the recordable time on the monitor. (For [FHD] in [MP4] format, the file size is large and so the recordable time will drop below 29 minutes 59 seconds.)
*2 CIPA is an abbreviation of [Camera & Imaging Products Association]. Temperature: 23°C (73.4°F)/Humidity: 50%RH when LCD monitor is on. Using a Panasonic SDHC Memory Card. Using the supplied battery. Starting recording 30 seconds after the camera is turned on. (When the optical image stabilizer function is set to [ON].) Recording once every 30 seconds with full flash every second recording. Rotating the zoom lever from Tele to Wide or vice versa in every recording. The number of recordable pictures varies depending on the recording interval time. If the recording interval time becomes longer, the number of recordable pictures decreases.
• Use a card with SD Speed Class* with “Class 4” or higher when recording motion images.
* SD speed class is the speed standard regarding continuous writing.
• SDHC Memory Cards and SDXC Memory Cards can be used only in equipment that is compatible with their respective formats.
• If the computer being used does not support SDXC Memory Cards, a message prompting you to format may appear. (Doing so will cause recorded images to be erased so do not choose to format.) If the card is not recognized, please refer to the below support site.
